Saw Operator

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining various saws to cut materials to specified dimensions, ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.

This position is responsible for operating and maintaining various saws to cut materials to specified dimensions, ensuring safety and quality throughout the process.
Responsibilities and Duties (include, but not limited to):
- Operation of Saw and other equipment as needed including Plasma, Shear, Brake and other fabrication equipment
- Set up, maintain, and operate a variety of saws. Cut materials to precise dimensions.
- Inspection and Quality Assurance of finished parts
- Interpret blueprints, measurements, and technical drawings to determine cutting specifications and select the appropriate blades.
- Production support in other areas as needed
- Self-Motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent work ethic and ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and precisely and basic math skills are required.
- 1-2 years of industry-related experience in Saw Shop or Production Environment preferred. Must be able to read a tape measure and basic math skills are required.
