Position Title Human Resources Generalist (Full Time – Exempt)
ROLE
This position is responsible for being the HR point of contact for all HRl and benefit administration functions and serving as a partner to leadership while supporting the needs of the employees.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries, concerns and HR, benefits -related matters
Serve as a liaison between the company and outsourced HR partner
Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation
Conduct new hire orientation and ensure smooth onboarding of employees
Process new employees and maintain all employee information in various systems (Prism, Syteline, FTK)
Ensure all necessary payroll documentation is gathered and filed, such as PTO request forms and deduction forms
Track other personnel accruals such as PTO and disciplinary points, and ensure accuracy
Support management with performance evaluation processes
Coordinate and track required on-site benefit meetings for employees
Manage employee uniform accounts
Generate HR reports for management and compile data for decision-making
Maintain Employee Handbook ensuring accuracy and compliance
Focal point for all workers comp activity
Assist with the mediation of workplace conflicts and facilitate resolution of employee concerns
Foster a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values and supports employee engagement
Generate HR reports for management and compile data for strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Maintain confidentiality
Other duties as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification: High School Diploma – College Degree in HR related field preferred). Required Knowledge: Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems such as word processing, email and managing file/records.
Experience Required:Prior HR experience required; HR or office experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Skills/Abilities:Communicate effectively and work with others in a team environment along with interacting and collaborating with co-workers daily. Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills are a must. Excellent time management skills, organization, and ability to work under deadlines, strong attention to detail, a positive attitude and willingness to learn and participate in a changing environment. Ability to handle confidential information.
